SUMMARY:Pocket Shrines for Tea Lovers
DESCRIPTION:In this fun and creative 3-hour workshop\, participants will create a tea-themed pocket shrine in a brand-new mint tin. A pocket shrine is a small container which honors a thought or theme. In this workshop\, we will be focusing on the theme of tea in all its serenity and long history. We will use a variety of materials to honor this universal beverage. \nMaterials will include teapot and teacup molded shapes\, charms\, paper punches\, images of the camellia sinensis (tea) plant\, printed tea quotes\, replicas of tea leaves\, and more!
